US Army Brigade Combat Team Nonlethal Capability Sets

As the United States Army began to create its next generation of Nonlethal Capability Sets (NLCS) for its Brigade Combat Teams (BCT) deploying to the Middle East, they selected Aardvark as the sole source provider of the systems designed for an entire BCT of approximately 3,000 soldiers to conduct five different missions. Over the past three years, the project has fielded more than four million pounds of equipment and more than two million individual items.

ICE Detention and Removal SRT Disturbance Control Sets

When Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) needed to develop a rapidly deployable system of individual personal protection equipment for their Special Response Teams, they contracted Aardvark to design and procure the necessary equipment to provide this capability. The resulting Disturbance Control Sets, containing various crowd control equipment, would be strategically placed in the detention facilities and labeled by size for quick deployment during a potential riot.

US Army Entry Control Point

Responding to the repeated attacks on US Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) using Personnel Borne and Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (PB/VB IED), the US Army selected Aardvark to develop and field integrated systems that would harden the entry control points (ECPs) at all FOBs in Afghanistan. Consisting of four modules, the ECP system contains road barriers, vehicle arresting systems, armored guard posts, personnel and vehicle search equipment, translation and hailing gear, and pedestrian security systems.

Miami Police Department Ballistic Helmet Sets

Seeking a comprehensive solution to the logistical challenge of acquiring 1,500 ballistic helmets, face shields, and neck protectors, the Miami Police Department tasked Aardvark with the procurement and delivery of the desired gear. Working with Miami PD to develop and integrated system approach to the problem, Aardvark produced fully assembled, serial traceable, labeled, and ready to field ballistic helmet integrated modules.

US Marine Corps Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Sets

Aiming to expand the force protection capability of their units deployed overseas, the US Marine Corps selected Aardvark to design a system of mission specific gear that would equip mobile training teams in remote areas with the equipment for establishing and securing a perimeter, entry control checkpoint, vehicle stoppage, guard patrol, lighting and communication, and general construction of forward training bases. In response to these requirements, Aardvark developed the Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Capability Set (ATFPCS).
